The EdZapp Team
EdZapp is a small and nimble organization with extraordinary talent and dedication to our work–so we can help schools and districts optimize HR processes to be more effective and efficient. A little more about our team:
Our seasoned HR professionals and passionate educators apply their real-world experience to manage EdZapp’s product development and training functions. They reach out to college students, career centers, job-seekers, and employers like trouble-shooting, problem-solving superheroes so they can continually refine EdZapp’s services. One more thing: EdZapp’s Product Development and Adoption Team is brought to you by the Letter J.
- Jennifer manages Product Development at EdZapp. With an MBA from Berkeley and an elementary teacher certification, she has a unique ability to see both the forest AND the trees. She also serves as a board member at her son’s Montessori pre-school.
- Jim, EdZapp Ambassador, was actually the original “developer” of a statewide (paper) application that eventually evolved into EdZapp. A “retired” school administrator, HR Director, and state School Personnel Association Executive Director, he now splits his time between running, biking, EdZapp, and supporting worthy social causes. Jim’s credibility, integrity, and athleticism are simply above reproach.
- Joanna supports Customer Adoption for EdZapp, and brings years of experience as an account manager and customer support specialist to our clients. A proud Duck, she has a business degree from the U of O, and wears green and gold even in the “off season.”
- Julie has joined the company as a Project Manager for several new initiatives EdZapp has going. She is an expert educator, having been a classroom teacher, administrator, School Change Coach for Employers for Educational Excellence, and District Liaison for the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC). Among other accomplishments, she was named “Principal of the Year” in Oregon a few years ago for her exceptional work at a middle school.
Our experienced technologists manage EdZapp’s hosting infrastructure, data architecture, and user interface. No matter how simple or complex your recruiting, screening, tracking, or hiring needs may be, they combine their techie brain-power to provide inventive, customized solutions.
- Andy is our Product Engineer and Architect. If we told you anything more, you would want to hire him and be able to find him on Facebook, so that’s all we’re going to say…other than, “Andy rocks!”
- Donald is EdZapp’s data center manager, who guarantees that the hardware and network that support the EdZapp system are up-and-running all the time. He has a decent sense of humor for a guy who monitors little blinking lights all day and all night.
- Floyd & Gayle are responsible for our Document Management function, scanning hundreds of thousands of transcripts, letters of recommendation, and resumes each year. Because pages fly through our high-capacity commercial-grade scanners at 100ppm, Floyd no longer wears a tie and Gayle leaves her necklaces at home.
- Pam is our Database Administrator, and monitors our site activity like a cat watching a ball of yarn. With years of big-name experience at Honda, Taco Bell, and Sprint, she is helping EdZapp’s database grow while purring along. Of course, she also loves cats.
- Scott is our Senior Developer and Chief Problem Solver. His uncanny ability to anticipate and solve issues before they become problems is a huge benefit for EdZapp. Out of respect to his wife and four kids, we don’t allow him to work more than 80 hours per week.
Our Founder and CEO, T.J. Chandler, contributes his entrepreneurship, wit, and versatile background as an educator and a business leader to pave the way for EdZapp’s success. As such, he gets his own EdZapp Founder page…
